Originally from France and now rooted in Manchester, Kinaya's work spans residencies and open access events, using a holistic approach to create safer and accessible spaces for all. Recent Brighter Sound projects she has worked on include week-long residencies led by artists Nubya Garcia, Karen Nyame KG and Wu-Lu, and a series of open access events hosted by BBC Radio 1's Victoria Jane.
Kinaya has a degree in Art Administration from La Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris. She’s also a very good barista.
